PUMPKIN MADNESS

You can never have enough pumpkins! Let your fireplace explode with pumpkins of all different sizes. Start with the large pumpkins and begin to layer the smaller ones over them to create the pumpkin madness. Experiment with different shades and colours to add a balanced variety and depth. To bring in an extra touch you can use craft or tissue paper to cut out pumpkin faces, these can be used as a stencil to go into your mirror or put on a piece of string to create a garland.

GRUESOME GREEN

The colour conveys the mad science themes of many frightening green monsters such as Frankenstein. Create a cohesive colour palette and pair an eerie green with black and white. Paint your pumpkins and gourds different shades of moody greens to create the look, you can even add a golden sparkle with hints of glitter.  Add décor accents of green or black bugs, frogs, insects you can think of, you could even accomplish this through painting some artwork.

Incorporate eccentric, rusty birdcages and experiment with hanging them using wire or string. You can even create a bird’s nest from plant stem or hay.

Add in some elegant metallic elements such as bowls or vases, these can be used for branch features and pumpkins. To bring in some light you could also embed some fairy lights within the foliage.
