Six Space Saving Items To Own If You Have A Tiny Apartment_

I don't know about you, but I seem to be accumulating a lot of stuff lately. Loving interiors and furniture does not help this at all. Many London apartment owners have a problem about space and a lot of furniture and accessories you see are designed solely for those lucky few who have grand homes with ample of space. So what can you do about it? Here are our six tips on space saving items you should have for your apartment.

Get Some Nesting Tables

Having side tables you can stack is a God send for small spaces, they can be pulled out to have dinner or need to study, or even use all three when you have a few more guests around and you want to serve drinks and food. If you want to conserve even more space purchase a design which allows you to house items like books or plants between the legs.

Magnetised Your Kitchen

As well as hanging pots and pans above you, you can use the wall space too especially if you have a small kitchen like the Galley Kitchen we just completed recently. Investing in some magnetic racks for kitchen knives and smaller utensils will free up your counter space and also display your implements rather nicely.

Under Seat Storage

Living and Kitchen area seating is perfect for incorporating storage, they hide clutter, extra bedding, books and all the unwanted items you don't want on display. Totally worth the investment.

Foldable Furniture

Folding furniture comes in all sorts of forms, including the eponymous Murphy Bed. If you have a small patio, consider wall seating that can be folded down to make space for your BBQ or table when you need it. Fold down breakfast bar tables, and side tables also help free up valuable space.

Shelving & Ledges

I love ledges. They instantly make a collection of ornaments or pictures look organised and eclectic. You can purchase these online quite cheaply, and you'll be kicking yourself that you've not done this simple storage solution already!

Featured Wallpaper & Supersizing

This might sound crazy but if you want to create the illusion of more space, two simple things you can do are a feature wall using a large repeat print or bold pattern and also buying a statement piece like this oversized side lamp. These elements draw the eye and make the rest of the space seem larger.
